d_deweywright
Some clarification would help us. Are you installing from a disc, or from downloaded files? If you're installing from a disc, when you copy everything to your hard drive first, do you get any error messages during the copy?
LeeJackson
I'm installing straight from the disc.

d_deweywright
I'm installing straight from the disc. Okay, so in post #4, with the link to instructions to first copy everything from the disc to your hard drive, and then installing from the files on the hard drive, which you said you did several times... did you do that? Were there any errors when you were copying files to the hard drive? And did you actually then install from the files on the hard drive?
LeeJackson
Yes I did it down to the letter and It would get stuck on something about writing system registry value or something then it would roll back.

d_deweywright
Is your E: drive a hard drive or an optical (DVD/BR) drive? How much free space is available on your C: drive?
LeeJackson
My E: Drive is a DVD drive and 296GB is free
d_deweywright
Then I assume the logs you included are from an install from the DVD, and not from the install you did after copying the files to your hard drive. Is that correct? If it's not, then it doesn't look like you ran the Setup.exe from your HD.
LeeJackson
yes should I send the logs from installing on the hard drive.

d_deweywright
It sort of looks like a .NET issue. There's another thread here (link) that guided someone else through manually installing the .NET framework, and then downloading the Game Capture HD Pro SP2 software. See if anything there helps. The SP2 download is a full installer, and should work with your existing key. But you may need to manually install the .NET framework first. Let us know if anything from that helps. cdanteek
I agree with Dave download the SP2 update to your hard drive and use it, http://softwareupdates.roxio.com/isum/gamecapture/gchdprosp2/RoxioGameCaptureHDPROServicePack2.0.exe
