Live Web Streaming Lie?

Before purchasing this app, I talked to no less than 3 people at pre-sales support to make sure it could capture video AND audio from streaming video. Was assured it could. I want to save subscribed videos to iPad for offline viewing as travel often means no or slow internet connections. Have been in touch with support numerous times and still no go. Does this app REALLY do what they said or was I lied to?

“Subscribed videos” can mean a lot of things, depending on which sites they're hosted on and/or streamed through. The video has to be in a supported format and stream type, and some websites work hard on countermeasures to avoid stream capture. Some capturing may not work anymore when it worked previously, because of changes in the way the videos are streamed.

Yes, I've seen it working on some videos, and yes, I've seen it failing or partially working on other videos.

If stream capture fails, most times screen capture can be a “good enough” alternative.
