Updater Error And Support For Other Software Like Obs

There are a few things.

 

First the Software Update Manager is no longer working since a Windows Update Months ago. Does no difference system is Windows 7 or above.

 

I hope that you can fix this.

 

Than there is a feature missing for capturing gameplay sound and recording a microphone at the same time as mix.

 

There is a Option PAL_720p/1080i that is not useable. Roxio Game Capture always switch back to NTSC_M (i am using PAL Gaming Consoles)

 

 

OBS - Open Broadcaster Studio can Capture much better Video Quality than the Game Capture Software why is this so ?

And can you please tell us the right settings for capturing with best quality ?

Cannot duplicate your error with the Update Manager. Suggest you try a Repair/Install like this:

First thing to do is to turn off your Anti Virus, Firewalls, Registry Cleaners, etc.

Unplug your RGC Device and put it aside until you are completely finished.

Now insert your Roxio Disc.

Don’t do any updates at this time (get it running first)

When you reach the screen where Repair is offered, choose that!

When the Repair completes, turn your AV & Firewall back on and reboot.

To capture the Microphone, it has to be introduced AT the Capture Device!!!! The signal coming down the USB cable is done, nothing can be added to it Use a 'Y' connection at the Device and add you audio from your computer headset or speaker output.

 

You say the PAL capture is unusable... Please explain that. Keep in mind ALL capture will only be 720, regardless of what is fed in.

 

OBS? Quality is the same it comes from the Device through the USB. What you are likely seeing are differences in the Component adjustments between the two. Have you tried adjusting your RGC Software? (sunshine icon in the capture window)
