Roxio Photosuite Clip Art

Question

I am not sure if I have posted this in the correct section, if I have not please forgive me.

I use Creator NXT Pro - Version 14.0.36: 5.0.0..

Photosuite - Roxie Creator MXR Pro (Build 140B36A), I use Windows 7

I also use Roxio Photosuite to edit my photos (I like it a lot), I wondered if there was a way to

obtain more clip art then what was provided with the program.

I tried to Google this question to keep from bothering you but I could not find a answer which

makes me think there is no more clip art to obtain.

Thank you for your help.

cdanteek - Thank you for your reply.

I looked at the site and copied a picture and pasted it on to the Photosuite picture.

I was not aware I would be able to do that.

Thank you very much for your help.

You're welcome.

The image I'm in is C2011you could make a new folder of online clip art and place the folder in the PhotoSuite Clip Art folder.

You should be able to access them from the program.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio 2011\PhotoSuite\Content\Clip Art

cdanteek - Thank you for your reply.

I was able to add a folder to this file

C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio Creator NXT\PhotoSuite\Content\ClipArt

and I downloaded a clip art from the site you provided.

When I went into photosuite clip art the folder I created was not there.

There is something else I am not doing.

I could not find the "Roxio 2011" you showed in your link.

I think the Photosuite clip art file has not seen the folder I created.

Thank you for your help.

Take a few and put them in one of NXT\PhotoSuite\Content\ClipArt folders and see if they show up?

cdanteek - Thank you for your reply.

I done as you requested and I put it in a existing folder and it still does not

show up in Photosuite clipart. I compared a one that works to one that I downloaded and

nothing was different. Something is wrong but I don't see what it is.

Thank you for your help.

Yes I downloaded a clip art from the site you gave me and I opened the "Baby" default folder and dragged it into

that folder. When I open up a JPG photo in photosuite and click on Baby clip art the JPG I downloaded and druged there is not there.

I am doing something wrong but I don't know what it is.

ddh and CD,

Sorry to report, but Roxio have gone about this in quite a complicated way so that adding ClipArt is going to be incredibly difficult unless you're experienced in database programming.

The names of their clipart categories and even the individual .jpg files are contained in these three Jet database files

C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio Creator NXT\PhotoSuite\Content\LanguageDB\LanguageDB.xml

C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio Creator NXT\PhotoSuite\Content\Content.psod

C:\Program Files (x86)\Roxio Creator NXT\PhotoSuite\Content\ClipArtBorders.psod

If you want to add or use other clipart files you're going to have to get in and modify their database. :(

Regards,

Brendon

Brendon - Thank you for your reply.

I will not go into the programming files, I am not qualified to do any programming.

Thank you for your help.
