So I've used my Roxio for about 3 years now & I've used it through a splitter to get audio with HDMI through the Wii U so I can capture in HD. My problem is that every time I hook up my HDMI cable directly to the capture card, my Wii U & tv gets no audio, if I hook it up the HDMI cable directly to the tv, I get audio. If I hook it up through a splitter, I get audio. I don't know why I don't get audio normally through the capture card. That being said, my Xbox One gets audio just fine. I've changed my Wii U sound settings & saw that others have this issue & they could only fix it through a splitter.
