cindyt
Yes they play fine. When I toast 10 for mac year ago (before blue ray ) LAUGH OUT LOUD the dvd would in both my computer and standalone dvd. My DVD players are pretty old and I only use Blue Ray now. But I'm making a Memorial DVD and some of the family members only have the older dvd players so I have been trying to get them to play in my older. one I am going to try burning a VideoTS folder. aily cyrus
is there any way out in which we can play dvd in a cd drive???? as my laptop does not have a dvd drive *********
Jim_Hardin
No not possible at all!!! While they look about the same they are not and don't even use the same laser to read the discs. You could create a VCD (video cd) project and burn that to CD... The quality is less and the CD capacity is much less, but it is possible. I would suggest Door Number 3. Put the mpeg file from VideoWave onto a thumbdrive, portable HDD or SD card and use that with your laptop
amcorod
I am having issues as well with Roxio 5 and cannot understand why you would change software if its not broken. Unable to burn a dvd after creating a slideshow. Went to MYDVD and have tried on several occasions to burn a dvd and continue to get an error message. So Corel told me to delete all Roxio and Corel software and go to folders and add .old to all folders. Did so, and then downloaded all programs and still same problem. Any solutions recommended? My next step is to delete all Roxio and find me some software that will burn dvd's.
d_deweywright
"Roxio 5"?? That could be the ancient ECDC 5, or more likely, Creator NXT 5. Based on your comment about changing software that's not broken, we can assume you had a previous version that worked for you. Those of us on here are not working for Corel and aren't the developers of the software, so "we" didn't change it. Since you presumably have a previous version that was working, what version was that? Can you reinstall and use that? If you bought (probably) NXT 5 directly from Corel, there is a 30 day money back policy on it. So, let us know what you have, current and previous versions, and what version of Windows you're running. Also, you mention an error message. What is that error message, exactly?
