Black Screen And No Tv Singal / Tv Turns Off

when I am trying to record on my xbox one but the screen doesn't come up on my tv or on the Roxio software on my tv it just shows a blue screen on my tv when my xbox one is on. on the software is just shows black with a little blue line on the side. yes all cables are setup right and

Likely you need to change the settings in your Xbox to a specific resolution output and never use Auto Detect.

It's in your XBox settings, you have to specify the output. Pick an output resolution, something like 720P, just make sure the the XBox is NOT set to Auto-Detect because the Roxio game capture device doesn't respond properly to an auto-detect request.

Manually setting the output to 720 or 1080i should override the auto-detect.

Plese help i have no signal on the roxio game caoture software when i open the software my Monitor

 

All cables are setup right but on the roxio it go's to YPBPR. i use HDMI cables

 

 

even if i dnot have the HDMI cables in on the software it will say no signal.

 

 

and on the roxio software it shows a little blue bar on the side.

 

i got it to work one time but it stopped

 

 

and when my game is off it shows a blue screen and when i turn my xbox one on it turns the Monitor off

Xbox One ONLY outputs with HDMI. So how did P_R, P_B & Y get into this?

 

Do you even have the Roxio HD or just the Standard Version with No HDMI input?

The NO Signal color is red

"on the front of the roxio it says in stand of going to hdmi it gos to YPBPR" ...... no idea what you mean by this, but it does not matter as the "YPBPR" jacks are not required as the Xbox only uses HDMI.

The red "No Signal" indicates that the Roxio device is being recognized properly but it is not receiving a signal..

 

Did you set your Xbox to a specific resolution output as requested many time on here?.

WHAT comes from your Xbox One to the RGC Device?

 

WHAT goes from the RGD Device to your TV?

 

As ogdens pointed out the Red No Signal indicates that the Xbox to RGC is not right... But there may be more so there is no extra charge to supply more info
