Can't Burn Dvd - Stops At 24% When Exporting Everytime

I have been trying to burn a DVD but I keep running into the same problem. As soon as it gets to 24% when it is exporting to DVD it either pops out the DVD or just sits there. The areas that were previously grayed out aren't anymore and the burn button turns blue again.

I have tried the repair and re-installing but continue to have the same issue.

Any help is appreciated.

Try Export to Computer. ~ it will create a file but that will test the content of your project and give us some insight where to go from there

 

Something else to think about. Your project is of video from 18 years ago so the quality of your source is probably not all that good (vhs?) Combine that with the 10 minutes over the 1 hour capacity of a DVD and you had to use Auto-Fit to make it fit. That reduces the quality so that it is lower than your original. While not the cause of your issue, once we get you running you might want to rethink this Project and either split it across 2 discs or get a few 8.5 DVD's.

 

Rule is: 1 hour for 4.7 and 2 for 8.5

I was able to export it to the computer with no problem

I took out one of the clips so that it is under an hour but now it stops at 44% exported

You say you were able to export to the computer without any problem. Then you state it stops at 44%.

Does the exported video play without problems?

 

Can you explain exactly the steps you are doing?

I exported it fine to the computer and it plays but when I try to burn a DVD it stops at 44%
