.mov Not Supported?

DaGo

Question

Hi,

I got the Pioneer BDR-XD05S Blu-Ray burner, downloaded the utilities and Toast 15 Titanium seams to be reading it just fine. I'm trying to make it work but now every time I drag in my .mov file. It says that it's not supported. I used the exact same file to burn a DVD and it worked. Help! I'm a Mac user by the way.

Thanks!

Are you saying you can author a DVD-Video (VIDEO_TS) from a .mov file, but not a Blu-ray (BDMV/STREAM) from that same .mov file, both using Toast v15.1 on the same computer? That would be weird.

Does it say the source file is not supported, a codec in that file is not supported, or perhaps that the output format is not supported? Please provide the exact error message. Please provide the file details on the .mov file (e.g. as provided by VideoSpec / MediaInfo / Media Inspector / iMediaHUD / Invisor), as some codec details may restrict support.
