Export Lp Input To High-Res Audio

I'm interested in ripping my LPs into the Mac and then exporting them to high res audio. Will Toast 15 do that? I'd like to then be able to play them through my DAC with better-than-CD quality.

I'm talking about FLAC or ALAC files, etc.

Toast v15 comes bundled with Toast Audio Assistant, probably the same app as with v14, but I haven’t checked that.

There’s an online manual for Toast Audio Assistant in PDF. It should give a reasonable overview of its features.

The highest recording quality with this tool is 96 kHz, 2 channel, 16 bits, as presented to me. Not sure if that is setup dependant.

The captures are saved as AIFF in a predefined location (check Preferences).

Toast can convert those files to e.g. FLAC.
