Help- No Signal Or Input From Pc

I am trying to capture video from my PC, with the recording itself happening on my laptop. I have an HDMI cable plugged in from my video card into the input side of the GameCap, another plugged in from my laptop into the output of the GameCap, the USB into the GameCap and into the laptop. I get absolutely no response from the software, with No Input and No Signal being the only thing it gives me.

I've tried switching PC HDMI to Output and Laptop HDMI to Input and this does nothing either.

The HDMI Output from the CameCap device is obviously for output...

 

I don't know of any laptop that has HDMI Input

 

All you will need it to disconnect that HDMI on your laptop and use an USB cable instead. The Device and the Software only work using an USB cable.

 

Give that a try and let us know

 

Just in case you are using the USB cable and mistyped it. What color is the No Signal in the Capture window of the software?
