Toast Dvd Creating Dvd With Wrong Aspect Ratio

Hello, I am using Toast DVD on a Mac, I have a quicktime in the correct aspect ratio, when I make a DVD and get it back, the aspect ratio is incorrect, it is stretched vertically. It ways this way on my computer and DVD player. I don't see any options to switch the aspect in the app. Any help? Thank you in advance.

The aspect ratio should be handled automatically. And if there is a mismatch between source and output, it should be padded with black, not stretched. That is how it is supposed to work.

Could it be that your source file is neither 4:3 nor 16:9, but something else?

Can you report what MediaInfo or VideoSpec says about your source file?
