Large Video Files From Fcpx

Question

Hello all, I just made a master file from FCPX to be burned to blu-ray in Toast 16. The file is rather large ( apple res 422 @ 230GB).

When I drop this media into Toast 16 it is telling me the file size is 906kb. It recognizes the correct Blu-Ray DL disc at 50GB. I'm not sure what to do next. Is there a maximum file size in Toast 16? I know there a lot more technical detail I should relay but if I can get an answer to the file size in Toast that would be a great start.

Thanks.

I’m not aware of a maximum file size for input, but Toast has been know to show way off predicted output sizes, if the preference files got corrupted somehow.

NB: I thought FCP could export (share) to Blu-ray specification? Meaning Toast won’t have to re-encode ProRes 422 to AVC or MPEG-2 if you do it that way, possibly skipping this error, and maybe a faster transcode.
