fiod3s
My configuration is as follows: Toast 17 Titanium (with HD plugin) macOS High Sierra 10.13.6 with supplemental update 2 MacBook Pro 13-inch, 2018 with touch bar (Intel Core i7 2,7 GHz; 16 GB RAM; 512GB SSD) MATSHITA BD-MLT UJ-272 1.00 SATA on USB3 PIONEER BD-RW BDR-XD05 3.01 USB3 The problem is that Toast recognizes DVD+RW and BD-RE as blank but when I try to burn them, it says there is no free space... thereafter it shows 0 bytes free for all single layer DVDs and BDs respectively, even if there is no media in the burner, until you successful burn a DVD+R/DVD-R or a BD-R. I can reproduce this issue at 100%. I tested CD-RWs and they work as expected. I have not tested DVD-RW and DVD-RAM so far. The customer support suggested me to do a clean install of Toast by deleting prefs, plists etc. but nothing changed. Did any of you try to burn rewritable DVDs and BDs? I use them just to do test burns... so I found out this issue only recently.
