You can use the Toast 17 Installer app that was provided when you initially purchased Toast 17, so an updated Toast .pkg installer will be dropped into a subfolder of your Downloads folder.

You can re-download it from http://www.roxio.com/enu/landing/download/

and don't worry about the About box it shows only the major version which of course is still 17 ...

There always also is a link in the Check for Updates - Update screen for the full separate download in Toast itself. This time the About box says 17.2. This one seems to work fine for me in 10.13.6.

It is what i have done with Toast 17.2  with Mac Os 10.14.1 Mojave , must tell update work well but it will be so simple for Roxio to Update Roxio Updates Support Site!

OK Toast is now at 17.3 build 5532. No update available over the update link so it will not selfupdate: http://img.roxio.com/updaters/toast/v173/Toast_Titanium.zip does not work yet.

Only possibility is to download the installer downloader: http://softwareupdates.roxio.com/downloads/toast/17/Toast_17.dmg which will then require a correct serial number and download the 17.3 complete installer into the download folder. Installing that will give you the current version. If you have the Pro version it will download the current Pro installer. This is a bit around the corner thinking, but it works. This version works properly so far with Mojave.

Hey Stargator,

Prost,

Klaus

Hey, Stargator,

that helps me, too.

I had problems duplicating audio CDs. This causes Toast 17 Pro to shut down. With your advice I updated to version 17.3 Build 5532.

And, what`s the hack, everything is fine, no shutting down Toast 17 Pro at the beginning of the copy process.

Why can't Roxio give the updates early enough? Why do we have to communicate in the forum when we have problems?

Roxio continues and gives us quite an early update. Not such amateur support.

As I said, thank you very much, stargator and for everything ...

Merry Christmas,

Cheers,

Klaus

Well I've tried Stargator's suggestion, but all I seem to be able to download is v17.2 NOT v17.3

v17.2 so far is completely unusable on my iMac with OSX 10.13.6....

Problem is it seemed to work for a few days (with random crashes) but now it will not remember the contents of the "disc" files it creates, not will it remember the contents of legacy disk files...

There's nothing wrong with the legacy disc files, Toast 15 has no problem with them but v17.2 just shows an unnamed disk with no content from the same file.

It's really quite frustrating, re-installing the software doesn't help, the problem persists - Every upgrade I've purchased over the last several years sems to be worse than what it replaces.
