saving audio projects

I have found that when using NXT5 I have problems saving projects. Using multiple mp3 files, using multiple tracks and editing song lengths. I have found that when the projects are saved the edits made on the individual songs are not saved. I am using windows 10. Anybody have any suggestions ???

What program within the Suite? Guessing it is Sound Editor and not Music Disc Creator.

I don't use it much, but some of the others are familiar with the care and feeding of Sound Director
