Video Capture Device

I Purchased Creator NXT 7 Pro had no signal when trying to capture video from VHS Player . Using HU3192-E. Tried to by new capture device from Roxio Won't sell Just The Capture Device Had To Purchase VHS To DVD 3 Plus To Get The Device. Received Software Loaded On Computer. New Device is HU3180-E . Started New Soft Ware No signal on video. Checked Driver Removed and Reinstalled, Program Doesn't work.  Opened nxt7 pro no capture device found,  Opened Digital records device is Available and will record Audio from the tape . Just Can't get the Video side of things To work  I Do Have A Old Dazzle DV100 it will Capture video . Any Ideas what is going on With The New Devices And The Software?  Any other information you need please Ask. I am getting Desperate to resolve this issue

With the Roxio device plugged into the PC open device manager and expand sound video and game controllers, and other devices (if shown).

OS Originally Was Win  7 Was updated  By Microsoft . was using NXT 4 Prior to upgrade And had not tried to use until Converting Some records & Tapes

I Did try The Repair yesterday Would the Log files help you any?

This is the third time I have asked!

What other devices are you looking for?  When I expand the sound / video / games  there are only 4 devices show under the sound card. I Am Willing to Show you what evrr just need to know for sure what it is you are looking for. (Do you Want each General , Driver, Details , Events Of Each )

Ok, leave the 'other devices' alone.

Plugin the Roxio USB Device, use the new one that came with VHS To DVD 3 Plus. uninstall the two Roxio entries under 'sound video and game controllers'. highlight one right click on it uninstall.

After both are uninstalled unplug the device and leave it unplugged until I tell you to plug it in! Reboot the PC, when the PC is up and running run repair on NXT 7. You will need to disable your 'CyberLink WebCam'.

When done plugin your Roxio USB Device, open the program and see if the capture device is available?

Still no device found in NXT 7   VHS to DVD3 No signal . Did get message .

These may seem like dumb questions but some folks we have found don't know any better!

Was your antivirus running?

Other programs running while you were repairing?

On the internet surfing while you were repairing?

Did NXT 7 programs work before repair?

Your log shows 'DOTNETFX_40.FoundDotNetPL = NotFound03/29/19 18:20:14 -    DOTNETFX_40.FoundDotNetHU = NotFound' over and over again.

Is your Windows OS updated?

Windows 10 was a dirty install over your W-8?

Antivirus was Off

Only running repair No Surfing  10 was installed over 7  When Microsoft had the campaign to update to 10

I Did Have NXT4  on the computer And it was doing the Same thing That is why I updated to NXT7 Thought maybe 4 Wasn't compatible will win 10

Then you have a messed up PC!

Plugin the Roxio USB Device, use the new one that came with VHS To DVD 3 Plus. uninstall the two Roxio entries under 'sound video and game controllers'. highlight one right click on it uninstall and the two unknown in 'other devices' and reboot. Do not plug in your Roxio USB Capture device! Reboot the PC.

I would uninstall your Roxio products, NXT 7 and VHS To DVD 3 Plus, using the free Revo Uninstaller Pro in moderate mode. Reboot the PC. Link, https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html

Then reinstall NXT 7 with all programs shut down and antivirus shut down.

Now open the NXT 7 program and plugin the Roxio USB device.

We can worry about installing VHS To DVD 3 Plus later.

uninstalled Roxie Drivers & Other Device Drivers  Rebooted System   Turned off Antivirus 

Downloaded Revo Uninstalled All Roxio Software . Easy LP to MP3 , VHS To DVD. Creator NXT pro 7  Rebooted Pc 

New Install Of NXT 7,  rebooted system . run windows update installed new up dates Rebooted  pc . 

opened NXT 7 . plugged in capture device  opened capture no Device found 

Opened  Digitize LP & Tapes line (Roxio Video Capture USB)

Tried Dazzle  DV100 it shows up Under Capture Video 

At About where I Started

Who told you to plugin the Dazzle device?

Did windows install drivers for the dazzle device?

If not where did the Dazzle drivers come from?

The Dazzle drivers could be your problem with the Roxio USB Device!

I did not install any driver for the dazzle device and only plugged it in after  The Roxio USB didn't work after the new install

If you plug in the Roxio USB Device before installing the drivers Windows installs generic USB Drivers that don't work.

Same for the Dazzle.

Have you looked in Device Manager  'Other Devices' and 'sound video and game controllers'?

What do they show?

I did not plug the Roxio usb in until I Had opened NXT7 and the Roxio drivers showed up in device manager at that time. The Roxio USB showed in the Digitize LP Side of NXT7 . Just not the capture side of Video.

Then I Removed the USB Device and plugged in the Dazzle device and the NXT& Capture Video Showed the Dazzle device Checked Device Manager this morning . opened NXT 7 plugged in capture device Roxio drivers show up under sound card location  3 & 4 still no capture in NXT 7

Use Dazzle device NXT 7 Capture shows the Device

Device manager Dazzle Drivers Show up Location 2 & 3

Uninstalled Dazzle driver removed Device & rebooted system  Opened NXT 7 Installed USB  went to capture still no device found
