Unable to Install: Product Key is not valid

Hello,

I have the Easy VHS to DVD 3 Plus software that I had purchased from BestBuy a while back and when I am trying to reinstall it on my new computer, I am getting an error stating, 'The Product Key you entered is not valid.." 

I am getting the product key straight from the disc sleeve. What is odd is that I was able to go register it on online and it recognizes that same serial number just fine. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

If you bought it from Best Buy, it had to be validated for it to work.  I have not heard that the second install had an issue.  There is a limit on the number of times it needed to be installed (not repaired).  

The best bet to get this fixed is to contact Roxio/Corel directly for a new key/procedure.

Just a thought and suggestion about Product Keys---Many times there are the letter O OR the number 0 in the key.

If you use the wrong one it will show NG. So make sure when you enter the P. Key that it is correct.

Hi, I have the same problem, how can I get a new key? I already verified my registration and the key I enter is the correct one, but it shows me the same message "The product key is not valid".

Look closely at the three images below, what image do you see after entering the CD-Key?

 

Incorrect / not valid CD Key notice red 'X'.

Do you mean the message Roxio software is showing you after you enter the cd-Key is  " Incorrect / not valid CD Key notice red 'X'?

If so you have to contact Roxio Support.

VHS-DVD 3+ purchased at Best Buy contained a 2nd BBY serial number. The way it was supposed to work was they validated it at the store when you purchase. But I could not find one BB store that knew anything about it. After 4 days back and forth between Roxio and Best Buy, FINALLY Roxio gave me a new Key, to work one time, so I could install the software. My profile on Roxio identifies the original key that did not work.

Now, a few years later, I bought a new PC and can't install this because of the same problem. I'm on day 3 trying to convince Roxio how to fix this as they don't seem to have a clue. Even though they still sell this version online, it no longer has phone support so they refuse to let me actually talk to someone real.

 

Roxio, it doesn't have to be this difficult and painful!!!

Hello strdyhzf!

After communicating with Roxio's chat support I was able to enable the program on my new computer, I was asked for some evidence of the purchase, fortunately I keep the box and disk of the original software. Now I have the VHS-DVD 3 installed and working properly.
