I just noticed that the standard audio encoding option for optical discs, Dolby Digital/AC3, is missing since I upgraded to 17.4. (Re-installing 17.2 restores the missing AC3 encoding.) Dolby Digital is listed in the manual as the recommended audio encoding method for Optical Discs. Was its omission a mistake? Or a licensing issue (like Adobe has had with Premiere Pro)? It would be a real blow to the usefulness of Toast to no longer have AC3 audio encoding... (Fortunately, I can still do it in Apple Compressor.) What's up with Dolby Digital audio encoding? (PCM encoding works fine, but takes up a lot more space on the disc.)
