If you are encountering issues, kindly provide a detailed description. Screenshots would help as well.
bohalloran 6 Report post Posted October 12 Yes, Toast 18 is 64 bit and is compatible. BUT, the BR plugin IS NOT. It is 32bit. So creating and burning a BR disc may be impaired.

tony0113 0 Report post Posted October 24 (edited) In my experience, there are only two main reasons why Toast 18 would crash on launch: 1. The installation is corrupted 2. You have a device attached to your Mac that Toast doesn't like The second reason is the one that gives the most headaches when helping other users, because they do not give you all the info you need. Then you realize while reading their system report that they have one or two hardware devices attached, like maybe a digital sound mixer, a Canopus docking station, or a USB capture dongle, etc. If you have already tried doing a clean install of Toast 18, and it is still crashing, check if you have any peripheral devices attached to your Mac - pull them all out, then try launching Toast again. If it launches this time, then one of those devices is causing the trouble. Well, obviously it would be easier to disconnect your peripheral devices first, than do a clean install. fiod3s 0 Report post Posted October 25 A minor issue is that you cannot mount disc images from Utilities menu because "ToastImageMounter" is still 32 bit.
hermie54 6 Report post Posted October 25 Looks like Toast 18.2 has seen the light: https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/6351/toast-titanium
fiod3s 0 Report post Posted October 27 Go64 reports another component of Toast Titanium still at 32 bit even on Toast 18.2 "Add to iPhone.app" but I don't know if and how it may affect actual user experience.
tchoonyong1 0 Report post Posted November 1 i believe toast 18.2 is ok when you are at 10.15 but a recent update to 10.15.1 cause a issue of launching error again. I will advise a look and improve on toast 18 it is not intutive to have a software keep having problem for each new individual update coming from apple when it is not a issue when you use other softwares. Bingham 0 Report post Posted November 2 ToastImageMounter is not working in Catalina 10.15.1. I just upgraded from 17 and I can't mount any disks. I have to manually mount disk to be able to burn. Why did a pay the 59.99 upgrade if I am at the same place I was with 17?
