Roxio Easy Creator 10 only allows Repair, Modify, Remove

Roxio Easy Creator 10. Windows 7. HP Elitebook.

I have always had problems where Roxio Easy Creator just stopped working. Usually the easiest fix was to uninstall from Control Panel and re-install with the store bought, legit CD.

On latest puke, the install only allows me the option to Repair, Modify or Remove. Not install.

There is no Roxio Easy Creator on my laptop to Repair, Modify or Remove.No opportunity to do a full installation

Is there a fix for this?

Try downloading and installing, https://www.revouninstaller.com/revo-uninstaller-free-download/

Run it in moderate mode and search your system for Roxio, deleting any found.

I was able to uninstall completely, but on re-install, it won't allow me to create DVDs. Even though it shows Roxio in my sys tray and on Task Manager it shows it is running

Please explain in detail?

Did you reboot your machine before reinstalling?

Did you shut down all programs and disable antivirus/firewall software before reinstalling?

Did you reboot after reinstalling?
