Question

I bought this program in 2015 and have never used it. I finally got around to hooking up my VHS player to my computer (it's not recogizing it so far) but am waiting for support to send me my product key.  Are there tricks to getting the player (Panasonic) to be recognized?

Sounds like you plugged in the Roxio USB device before installing the software?

That means the Windows Operating System installed generic USB drivers that don't make the device work with the software!

When you get your product key and ready to install the software you need to have the device plugged in, open device manager and expand the + mark next to  (sound video and game controllers), then delete/uninstall the driver's windows installed.

If you're unsure what to do open device manager and expand the + mark next to  (sound video and game controllers) with the Roxio USB device plugged in and take a screenshot and post the .jpg of it here.
