Roxio VHS to DVD software installed but now stopped workimg

With the Roxio USB Capture Device unplugged reboot the PC.

Click on the search and type %temp% a temp folder appears at the top, click it to open it.

From the menu bar click edit select all, then click file delete.

Reboot the PC, don't open any program, when it's up and running shut down/turn off your antivirus and firewall software.

Now load your installation disc and when it runs choose repair, does it finish or do you get the Syntax message coming up?

I'm not sure you are listening to me.

When you rebooted after turning off antivirus/firewalls they came back on!

You have to do things in the order I tell you.

 I apologize I did not get back with you I had to take my wife to the hospital twice. Here are the two things that you asked me to take a picture of it send to you. Also I did everything that you said to do in that order last week. Thanks in advance for all your kind helping will get there. Thanks for being patient with me
