When did you buy your device? Roxio tech support told me that devices bought before 2019 will not work with Catalina (10.15) and by extension I'm guessing they may not work with Mojave (10.14) but I only asked about Catalina. They also said the latest version of the software will not be compatible with the older pre-2019 hardware. It would be nice if they posted a little tech article which showed which operating systems and software are compatible with which serial numbers of products.

Wow... I hate it when companies do this. Especially when you have to learn about it like this, with no solution in sight. I understand Catalina has been a giant disaster, but now I have another piece of hardware completely bricked after a forced upgrade with my new computer.

I assume the hardware is nothing special & simply converts the RCA to USB, so in theory, it should be able to work with different software from a company that's managed to maintain its functionality despite Apple's progressive butchering of their once-1st class OS. Anyone know of a product that might perform the same function?
