Copy stops before VHS tape finished

This Roxio VHS to DVD Plus worked to  copy mini VHSc to digital for 1st couple of weeks. Now it stops after several minutes of recording even though there is more than 20 minutes of video on the VHS. Tried repair software with no improvement.
