Easy VHS to DVD3 plus

Question

Hi, I am using for the first time the Roxio easy vhs to dvd3 plus to turn one of my old exercise vidoes into a dvd incase my old vhs player eats my tape, but the 55 minute tape comes out only 41 minutes long. Every now and then the video goes into supersonic high speed and has condensed about 14 minutes of the exercises. Any ideas what is going on or what I need to do? I have tried to convert the tape 3 times and keep getting the same result with speed ups in different places, but the speed ups continue.   I am at a loss. I am using my laptop with windows 10.   thank you in advance for any help.                                                                                          Gcookie60

Do you have the latest updates for your software?

I received this the other day, and I wonder if it applies to the software you have.
