Videowave won't save production

dmargolis

Question

I created a Videowave production in Storyboard. Saved it first time, no problem. Yesterday, I get messages saying it cannot find multiple files (photos and video) when I go to view what I've done. The production was saved as a Videowave dsmw (I think that's right acronym) file. What's wrong? 3/4 of the photos and video are gone, and I have to start over.

Did you delete, rename or move the original files you used (or the production file itself) that are now missing in the production? Remember, the production is just a bunch of "notes" about what you want to do. It doesn't contain any actual video or photos, just pointers to the original files.

Do a Windows\ Search and find where the files are being stored ( folders and subfolders)

Then in StoryBoard, do a File\ Browse for missing files and relink them.
