When I play my 8mm tape on my camcorder and record it on Roxio, it has good video and audio output, but an hour or so into the tape, the video output shown on the Roxio changes to a blue screen and I can only hear audio. If you're looking at the tape through the tiny screen attached to the camcorder, the video is still playing fine with no blue screen. I've tried using multiple different tapes and I get the same issue every time. Mid way into recording, video changes to blue screen. I am capturing video by using an S-Video cable so I was thinking it might be a poor cable connection which is making it lose video signal? The S-Video cable is brand new so it cant be a faulty cable.
