Capturing and burning a 1.5 hour vhs to dvd

I am using probably the original version of easy VHS to DVD from 2008.  I don't think that should matter since I did what I wanted to do years ago.  I have a VHS tape that is 1.5 hours long.  When I capture it it, the file is 20GB.  Obviously I can't burn something that big to a DVD.  How do I break it up into smaller parts so that I can burn it?  Or is there a way to capture it so that it's smaller?
