Roxio Sound Editor - No Audio Output

Question

I am using NXT 7 and am using sound editor to remove leading and trailing white space from some mp3 files. All was working well when the audio playback went silent. I checked my headphones to make sure they were not unplugged. I checkedĀ  I had not clicked the mute button. I checked the mp3 I was working on by playing it back on windows media player. I exited and restarted Sound Editor. I rebooted my computer. Nothing I tried restored the audio playback in the editor even though I still was able to get audio from all other sources. Is there anything else that I need to check?

Thanks!
