How do I bypass pc master volume when recording from soundcard with EZ Audio?

I use the EZ Audio component of Roxio Creator NXT to record sound directly from the soundcard.  In the past, I have been able to bypass the master volume on the PC when recording.  This allowed me to lower listening volume when I was not in the room without affecting the recording levels.  Admittedly, it has been a while since I last did this and this is the first time that I've attempted it on this PC (Lenovo Yoga 7i running W11).

Any ideas?

Thank you.
