turning off mydvd to copy photos to CD-R

jamesmcnair3

Question

I'm trying to copy jpegs to a CD-R. If I use Roxio drag to disk or Explorer, mydvd8 keeps launching to create a slide show. I don't want to do this. I just want the files to copy over.

Any suggestions how to get mydvd8 to turn off?

The odd thing is that I didn't have this problem until I had to reinstall the Roxio easy media creator 8.

Thanks, :)

I think you will have better luck using Classic Creator to burn your photo data files to a c.d.

Patty,

Thanks for the prompt reply. Forgive me for being obtuse. Is classic creator part of easy Media creator 8? I can't seem to find it in the program. Or do I have to buy it?

By saying good luck do you mean I can't stop MyDVD8 8 from launching on drag to drop?

Thanks

James

She meant Creator Classic, and it is on the main Applications page. If you don't see it, something is wrong with your install.
