Question

I've had Roxio VHS to DVD3 plus for a while and have had success with it then all of a sudden when trying to play a vhs video to record to DVD, it tells me no video signal but every now and then I can see the VHS video then I get the message, no video signal. I've checked all my connection and nothing has changed from the time it worked and now it doesn't.  I've reloaded the software with no luck.

If it is a "different" VHS than the type, the first thing that comes to mind is copy protection   yours or someone else's.   If it is a commercial one, then it does have that protection.

The vhs tapes are made by me with my own camera. No copy protection. They are all home made video. The program (software) worked for months then now when you play a vhs tape, it will show about a second of the video then goes blank telling me no video signal.
