sbga
I'm having the same problem only with Windows Media 10. Audio, but no video. Plus it doesn't seem to want to start at the beginning (I did turn off shuffle). I did update to the latest version of directx, and I turned off all startup options; it made no difference. I tried a different DVD -- same problem. Any other suggestions? (The complete product name that I bought is "Cineplayer DVD Decoder Pack 2.3.1 - ESD") thanks
sbga
Start -> Run -> type: dxdiag -> Display tab What are the Name and Approx. Total Memory for Device? The name is blank and the total memory has an "n/a" beside it. What do I need to do? thanks.
Biggles615
Come on Sonic - this is just not good enough! I too have downloaded Cineplayer DVD Decoder Pack 2.3.1 - ESD because Windows Media Player 11 was looking for some codecs to play some mpg and avi movies. I was also asked to remove my Dell Media Direct.......because Sonic was not compatible with Dell Media Direct! Oh what a sucker - I fell for it. But what do I have ---nada! Paid my money, removed some Dell software and where am I - worse than I was before, no codecs, nothing. Please get your act together. You can see that I am not alone. Kevin J
I'd first make sure your video card drivers are up to date along with DirectX. Also, you should make sure your startup options aren't conflicting, these can be turned off by going to Start, Run, msconfig, enter, Startup tab.
