Authoring DVD - Menu problems

Longtime user of MyDVD from the Sonic Days... authoring a new DVD today and I'm learning the new platform.

 

I have three links from the main menu. One goes directly to a video, the second goes to a sub-menu with videos, and third is the same as the second.

 

All goes well in the preview mode and I just finished burning the disc. I've tried two different DVD players and I am unable to cycle the cursor to the third link. It plays the first one fine and as soon as I "scroll" to the second menu it automatically plays. No way to get to the third "menu" but I can "track" forward to the videos.

P.S. What is "activate on selection" mean in the settings menu?

I think "activate on selection" means just what you are seeing. Try unchecking that.
