It may seem a "Basic" function to you, but many editing program manufactures do not consider it to be a Basic function.

As a result, it was not included in the Deluxe version.

I don't have V8 on my computer now but if memory serves, you can do some color corrections during the capture.

What version of EMC 8 do you have? The Suite or the Deluxe?

I have the same problem as well. I cannot find any adjustments for color, brightness and so on. I have the suite. Let me guess. This was deliberately left out of the suite. I knew that disabled icon meant something. I guess I will have to take 8 off and go back to 7.5. This is a basic function and version should not matter...

I just dug out my laptop that has V8 Deluxe on it. In VideoWave, the following corrections are available above the preview screen - brightness, contrast and saturation. If you click on the settings icon to the right of those, a window will open which add adjustments for red, green and blue.

I think James meant to say in that those color corrections are not available in the Suite (regular version). I don't have that to look at. To tell if you have the Deluxe version, look at the box. If you don't have the box, in VideoWave, go to the top menu. Help> About. The Deluxe Version has a build number of 8.06XXXXX. You must be in VideoWave or MyDVD to determine this.
