Yes, V9 can remove some voice from a music cut and can make an enhanced disc with music and data by using Creator Classic. I do not believe it is what you want to use or buy if you are serious about making karaoke discs and to play them on a special machine. Sound Editor is a adequate sound editing program and can remove some audio but it is not a Karaoke style program. There are others designed to do this. Look at Dart's Karaoke program. By the way, there is a rumor that there will be a 30 day trial version of the program that will be available shortly. You might wait, unless you are on a deadline for that trial version to see if it will give you enough voice removal but I'm pretty sure it is not what you want.
