I have EMC 8, when I first got it, I did a bit of looking around here, from what I gather, D2D (packet writing) is a bad idea when it comes to backing up your data. I have since stopped using D2D (granted I have quite a few and resorted to using Nero and Creator Classic.
One thing that always bugged me when using Nero/Creator Classic to burn data (compared to D2D) is the dates on the Properties window, the dates for "Created" and "Modified" is the same, and it's not that way when I look at the Properties window on the original file on my Hard Disk!
Yes, I realise that the integrity of the data disc burned with Creator Classic far outweighs something trivial as this, but I was wondering if there is a way to burn Data Discs with the "Created" date stamp intact, making a perfect duplicate of the files on the Hard Disk?
And I also realise that this is pointless at best, but over 90% of discs I burned are just data discs, so I appreciate anyone out there taking the time to read this and reply...
