I mainly use EMC to develop DVD Slideshows of my photos. I found EMC6 pretty good for this aside from hangs etc from too many photos or DVD capacity over-run and lack of video format options. All seem great on EMC9.
EMC9 looks like it is far better except that I don't seem to be able to use the Storyboard or Timeline views in MYDVD to add special transitions/pans/zooms etc as you could in EMC6. The options in the pull-down menu are blanked (greyed) out and the Help..doesn't. The help suggests that only some versions have access?????
All you seem to be able to do is invoke the silly wizard that applies standard transitions and timings to all slides.
It is simple to use in the dedicated Slideshow sub program and it works how I thought it should in MYDVD. But I cannot make the movie in there and then import it MYDVD since the saving file formats don't match.
