Making CD Jewel Case Covers

holden4th

Question

Apologies if this has been posted before. I had ECDC v5 platinum which had a feature that would automatically search the web via for a cddb and transfer track information automatically to any CD jewel case cover I wished to create. I am seriously considering purchasing EMC9 but can't confirm that it has this facility in any of the promos for EMC9 that I've read. Can someone tell me of this feature exists, if so how good it is, etc. If it doesn't have this feature I don't see why I should change from using my registered copy of Feurio.

Thanks in advance

Holden

If you are happy with what you have, why upgrade? From what I read, Feurio was specifically designed to do this; this program would take you several steps to accomplish the same thing.

Yes the program searches the cddb automatically for the audio tags and then, if you want, will rename the music cuts to match the tags (no more track 0001). As for the album art, I don't know and it is a real puzzle to me. One function of the suite is Digital Music Experience. Somehow it found the album art for some music I had on the computer. I didn't search the web for it; it just appeared. I could not find the image that was displayed anywhere on my computer. It may be an on-line thing.

Once you got all that information, you would still need to use Label Creator to make the cover adding the art but it would fill in the tracks from the CD your burned CD..

If making the covers is all you are looking for, stick with what you have. If you want to do more, like making a DVD with 50 hours of music and other nice audio things, look at the system requirements to make sure your computer will meet or exceed the system requirements and if you want any of the other functions in this Suite.
