Xbox 360 Live Overwhelmed by Demand

The video download service for Microsoft's Xbox 360 Live gave users trouble this week, as Xbox 360 fans found the download service overwhelmed by demand. The sheer volume of data, coupled with the number of attempted downloads, seems to have overloaded Microsoft's Xbox 360 Live servers, bringing them to their virtual knees.

Good grief.........They should have seen this coming.

Let's see, they've sold X number of Xbox 360's to enthusiastic purchasers who are going to take them home, open the package, hook it up, and download the features.

Did they really expect people to wait until after the holiday to play with their new 'toys'?

I'm not gonna bang MS too hard about their XBox Live servers.I play games on my 360 that use both MS and EA servers and the MS ones win hands down.EA's are so bad that it's a struggle to use them on just a regular day.

I agree that they should have planned better but that seems to be the way things go in the console market. All the new box rollouts are under produced so why not this too...lol.
