Popcorn Won't Launch

I downloaded Popcorn 2 last week and everything was working fine, but when I tried to use it today it wouldn't launch. When I try to open it it shows up in the dock but doesn't open any further and it won't force quit either. Any suggestions on what to do or how to reinstall the program?

Disconnect any Firewire devices of USB disc burners and launch Popcorn again. If that works then you can reconnect the devices. This shouldn't be necessary but I believe the stall is happening because Popcorn can't communicate with some external device (the device may be asleep).
