ie7 how to switch back to 6

flying shark

Question

I believe I made a mistake and put ie7 on my main computer which is a synegio built machine with, p4,

3.42 gh, 1 gb ram, and radeon x6oox550 video card,

I have had few problems with locking up or bsod, mostly while running vw9, but thats likly becase I am mostly running it, had a bsod while defraging today. I also have vw 5 and mc7.5 as well as pinnicol 9 and .nero

All the programs work and all will lock up or quite randomly.

If mc9 had the ability to make multiple copies I would uninstall 7.5

Anyway back to my problem how can I tell if I have ie7 or 6 and if I have 7 how do I get back to 6

I really like some of the features of vw 9 and have perseveried through 2 wedding videos by saving at each edit and when done with file making dv video file to burn using mc 7

good results

well thanks in advance Bob the one flying shark

Before you remove IE7, make sure you don't have more than one packet writing software program on you computer. If you have Roxio's Drag to Disc, then you should not have Nero's InCD or whatever packet writing came with Pinnacle.

As far as getting rid of IE7, it should show up in Add/Remove Programs.
