NEED HELP WITH CODECS 4 MYDVD LE & WMP 10

This is an on going battle with my DELL since my sister went crazy installing codecs that would play or help her burn movies in MYDVD LE. I never came across a single movie in LIMEWIRE PRO or ARES 1.9.3.3012 that I couldn`t burn or watch after I downloaded a file called Xoom-DivX2DVD from ARES. But she managed to find one and decided to install 5 codec files from LIMEWIRE. Since i`ve wiped & restarted my computer I cant seem to find the same Xoom-DivX2DVD on LIMEWIRE their all either viruses or have missing files that make annoying things happen like videos or menus being upside down and uninstalling them and all other components does not work for some the problem of upside down issues still remains. Im hoping sombody can help, I am at a loss, without my movies I would surely DIE!!!! if I must go on like this.I have recently tried downloading SLD Codec to try to get by for now but either it dosen`t work or maybe it won`t install right .At this point I dont konw what to do PLEASE HELP
