Bou Bear

Question

I have used my program for at least a year to a year and a half i bought it when it came out everything has always worked fine till about a week ago when i installed the update IE7 to little knowledge that it would make my program not allow to add new titles to dvd. I use this program for my work i am a videoographer for all occasions. I since deleted IE7 FOR later IE6 version program seemed to work fine till i tried to burn my next project. and get the burn error code 0x80004005. Any help will be helpful thanks

I also have been burning compilations for over a year with everything burning fine, now within the last couple weeks the burn process completes and fails to burn to the disk with a 0x80004005 error. and the disk is blank. The only thing I'm doing different that I can tell is I started using Maxelle DVD-R's 16X.

Is this a problem that others are having?

Well, did you let Microsoft's automatic updates download I.E. 7 for you? If so, see the answer to the first poster. (There is a link to a Roxio KB article, pinned to the top of the V. 7 / 7.5 Video Forum.) If not, then you have a different problem, and should start your VERY OWN thread.

Error 0x80004005 is 'unspecified error' (you can verify that via google), and is used when the program doesn't really know what's wrong but is certain something IS wrong.
