Can't put button on menu

I am VERY new at this and have read all the posts. Since I don't understand most of the computer lingo about opening up the program in iso, etc. (Roxio 9) please answer in very basic talk.

 

Problem: have created a dvd of pix/sound but when the menu is added there are no buttons. I burned dvd and all of it is there, but you can't get off the menu page (through a TV dvd player) without manually hitting play.

 

The DVD won't play at all on the computer. It just sits there on the menu page.

 

Where do you find the buttons to put on and activate?

 

I used Slideshow Creator on Roxio 9.

Many of the themes don't have "buttons" for the Titles, just the text of the Title shows. That is what you select to play that Title.

 

If you change the theme, you can browse through them and fine one that has a "button" as well as text.

You can also mix and match themes/button. If you chose a theme with TEXT button, select the text button and then View Settings. Click the second TAB and click the button style drop down. Select a button style that has a thumbnail.
