When I add a new movie to my menu in MyDVD, only the file name is shown. I've tried changing button styles, menu styles, but the program won't change. Is there an option some where? My old EMC 7 did this with ease with the same files. Thanks ahead.

If I understand correctly, you want a DVD menu with a picture thumbnail for each movie/title on the main menu. Correct? If so, this is the way it should work:

1. Open MyDVD and select Change Menu Style in the Edit window.

2. You have to select a menu style that includes a picture thumbnail for each title (menu item) on the main menu. I think there are only 2; Birthday and Snowman. You can later change the background, but you must select one of these two themes in order to get picture thumbnails. Select one of those two and click OK

3. That menu theme should now appear in the Preview window. Select Add New Movie, navigate to your movie file location, select the first movie to be added and click Add

4. A picture thumbnail along with the file name should appear on the preview. The thumbnail pictures will be the first frame of your added movie.

5. Repeat for all additional movies.

6. Change the background for the menu and menu background audio as you desire by clicking the corresponding buttons in the Edit window.

If that does not help, post back with more detailed steps of how you are building the menu and also your system specs.

Or choose your favorite menu Style and the then click CHANGE BUTTON STYLE. There you can choose a button sytle that includes thumbnails.

Thanks, Gary, I learned something today. Didn't know that feature could change text buttons to picture thumbnails.
