Question

Burned a home movie (no editing) right to a DVD. Used a program on my computer I had never used before called Click to DVD - on my Sony. Just wanted to see how it worked. Captured and Burned. After the burn I made a copy using Sonic REcord now. Then I went to make sure everything worked and put it in my computer, and screen came up using Windows Media Player. BUT then a little sign came up saying, "Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library" Under that it said Runtime error. Message said, "Program..es\commonfiles\RoxioShared\sharedCOMB\Roxwatchtray.exe" "This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way, please contact applications support team for more information"

Have absolutely no idea what this means, what I might have done wrong, or how to rectify it. What does all this mean????? Thanks. MK

Roxwatchtray.exe,

Look down by the clock for a icon that says the above, right click stop.

To shut it off, click start, run type in msconfig click ok. On the startup tab find Roxwatchtray.exe, and uncheck. Click apply ok, needs a re-start. When Windows re-starts check the box don't show me again.

Now see if it happens when you try to play the DVD.

Thank you so much. I know absolutely nothing about the inner-workings of a computer. I just turn it on and hope for the best. That's why I rely on you for help. I use EMC almost exclusively, but thought I should learn a bit more about the other programs that came with the computer. Thanks for your help. MK
