can't retrieve files from dvd

Cindy27

Question

dvd made in Toast 5 something w/ increasing difficulty to get it to finish in Mac OS 10.2.8 . Would only write disc for 4.7 GBs. Wanted to upgrade to Titanium 7. It needed ver. 10.4 . I upgraded to that and can get all the files off dvd but Pictures/My Albums/etc. . . I get this error:

The file ".DS_Store" could not be accessed. (Data fork, 36).

Can anyone help?

Cindy, unfortunately this is posted in the general chat area which is supposed to get just that. Posts are not to be directly related to issues with Sonic/Roxio. Yes, I know that there are other specific questions posted here (usually about PC/EMC issues but they are not supposed to be. The problem is compounded because very seldom do MAC users post here.

For better response, I suggest deleting this post and add one to the Mac area closer to the bottom of the boards. I'm not sure that many people will read your post here since it is specific request for help with a Titanium 7 issue.

The .DS_Store file is not something you want to copy. It is an invisible file in the Finder that remembers the location of icons in the icon view window of a folder. Skip it.
