lynn98109
Is that critical I.E. update called I.E. 7? Is it FOR I.E. 7? Or does it have to do with something in real-life, like I.E. 6? The rest of them look like they have to do with things I don't try doing Lynn
vid2man97
Lynn, the I.E. update is for version 6. So if you use it, as I still do and I suspect millions of others, you might want to add the update to your computer. that is...if you haven't already checked out M.S. and figured that out for yourself... lynn98109
I won't be checking until I have the Beast booted - it has been every morning, but the "season" is over for eBay, and I'm TRYING to reduce that. So far, not much luck. For some reason my ISP recognizes the V.92 Modem @ 33.6kbs, whereas it recognizes the V.90 Modem on the Win98 SE @ 44kbs - and neither computer is on line when the line is not in use. That makes a major reduction in risk. Also, neither has Outlook or Outlook Express set up that it can access the Internet or vice-versa.
